Rings crew on the move

The Lord of the Rings film crew had a secret gathering on Takaka Hill today.
Production of the film trilogy has switched to Canaan Downs, the former site of the New Year's Eve dance party the Gathering.
While it was no secret that director Peter Jackson, his crew and the stars were filming on Mt Olympus in Golden Bay yesterday, the move to Canaan Downs had not been publicised.
The weather at Mt Olympus became cloudy this morning.
