Finally, an album to cash-in on - sorry, celebrate the musical phenomenon that is the Gathering. Every New Year, thousands descend upon Takaka for the three-day dance music festival. This compilation features a few of the prime tracks for the Gatherings of recent years. It also serves as a useful sampler of recent electronic music. Salmonella Dub, Pitch Black and Baitercell provide the highlights, but it's a thoroughly consistent album. A good buy if you're looking for some new dance grooves. Rave on.
